Assessment of the stability of sheep sausages with the addition of different concentrations of Origanum vulgare extract during storage.

TL;DR: The oregano extract showed antioxidant potential equivalent to sodium erythorbate at intermediate and high levels, calculated by DPPH∙ and FRAP methods, and most of the parameters were not compromised, allowing synthetic antioxidants replaced while maintaining the nutritional and sensory quality of cooked sausages.
Journal ArticleDOI

Evaluation of oxidative stability of lamb burger with Origanum vulgare extract.

TL;DR: Burgers containing oregano extract had higher oxidative stability, evidenced by an 80% reduction in thiobarbituric acid reactive substances, effective inhibition of protein oxidation and less colour loss during frozen storage.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of oregano extract on oxidative, microbiological and sensory stability of sheep burgers packed in modified atmosphere

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors evaluated the effects of oregano natural extract added to sheep burgers packaged in a modified atmosphere for 20 days at 2 − 1 − 1 ¼°C, seeking antioxidant properties and healthiness appeal.
Journal ArticleDOI

Characteristics, Properties and Analytical Methods of Paclitaxel: A Review.

TL;DR: There is a need for the development of drug delivery systems to enhance the solubility, permeability and stability of paclitaxel and to promote a controlled and targeted delivery for better therapeutic effect and reduced side effects.
