Removal of the hazardous dye—Tartrazine by photodegradation on titanium dioxide surface
Vinod Kumar Gupta,Vinod Kumar Gupta,Rajeev Jain,Arunima Nayak,Shilpi Agarwal,Meenakshi Shrivastava +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the removal of tartrazine by photodegradation has been investigated using titanium dioxide surface as photocatalyst under UV light, and the process was carried out at different pH, catalyst dose, dye concentration and effects of the electron acceptor H 2 O 2.
Journal ArticleDOI
Photo-catalytic degradation of toxic dye amaranth on TiO2/UV in aqueous suspensions
Vinod Kumar Gupta,Rajeev Jain,Alok Mittal,Tawfik A. Saleh,Arunima Nayak,Shilpi Agarwal,Shalini Sikarwar +6 more
TL;DR: The photo-catalytic degradation of an azo dye - Amaranth (AM) - has been investigated in TiO(2)/UV aqueous suspensions and it was observed that decolorization rate increased by the increase in temperature and the lower the pH the higher the degradation.
Journal ArticleDOI
Management of ingested foreign bodies and food impactions
Steven O. Ikenberry,Terry L. Jue,Michelle A. Anderson,Vasundhara Appalaneni,Subhas Banerjee,Tamir Ben-Menachem,G. Anton Decker,Robert D. Fanelli,Laurel Fisher,Norio Fukami,M. Edwyn Harrison,Rajeev Jain,Khalid Khan,Mary L. Krinsky,John T. Maple,Ravi Sharaf,Laura Strohmeyer,Jason A. Dominitz +17 more
TL;DR: This guideline is intended to be an educational device to provide information that may assist endoscopists in providing care to patients and is not a rule and should not be construed as establishing a legal standard of care.
Journal ArticleDOI
Complications of ERCP
Michelle A. Anderson,Laurel Fisher,Rajeev Jain,John A. Evans,Vasundhara Appalaneni,Tamir Ben-Menachem,Brooks D. Cash,G. Anton Decker,Dayna S. Early,Robert D. Fanelli,Deborah A. Fisher,Norio Fukami,Joo Ha Hwang,Steven O. Ikenberry,Terry L. Jue,Khalid Khan,Mary L. Krinsky,Phyllis M. Malpas,John T. Maple,Ravi Sharaf,Amandeep K. Shergill,Jason A. Dominitz +21 more
TL;DR: Consider conservative or endoscopic/percutaneous measures if: Localised perforation with no extravasation No significant fluid collections No significant retroperitoneal emphysema Stable patient.
Journal ArticleDOI
Removal of the hazardous dye rhodamine B through photocatalytic and adsorption treatments
TL;DR: A significant decrease in the COD values was observed, which clearly indicates that both photocatalytic and adsorption methods offer good potential to remove Rhodamine B from industrial effluents.
