TL;DR: Sensitivity and specificities of the AUDIT or criteria of current hazardous use and, to a slightly lesser extent, lifetime alcohol dependence are high, and AUDIT scores are at least moderately related to other self-report alcohol screening tests.

Addictions Neuroclinical Assessment: A Neuroscience-Based Framework for Addictive Disorders.

TL;DR: A heuristic framework for the Addictions Neuroclinical Assessment that incorporates key functional domains derived from the neurocircuitry of addiction is proposed and it is shown that it is practical to implement such a deep neuroclinical assessment using a combination of neuroimaging and performance measures.
