Paul Tixier,P Burch,Félix Massiot-Granier,Philippe Ziegler,Dirk Welsford,Mary-Anne Lea,Mark A. Hindell,Christophe Guinet,Simon Wotherspoon,Nicolas Gasco,Clara Péron,G Duhamel,Rhys Arangio,Renzo Tascheri,Sobahle Somhlaba,John P. Y. Arnould +15 more
TL;DR: The results indicated that these removals were large, totalling more than 6600 t of toothfish between 2009 and 2016 with an annual mean of 837 t, and provided metrics to assess the impacts of depredation interactions on the fishing industry, whale populations, fish stocks and associated ecosystems.
Journal ArticleDOI
Effect of fishing tactics on the standardization of cardinalfish (Epigonus crassicaudus) catch rates in the demersal multispecies fishery off central Chile
TL;DR: In this paper, the authors analyzed the allocation of effective fishing effort and the standardization of cardinalfish catch rates in the multispecies demersal trawl fishery off central Chile.
Journal ArticleDOI
Estado de explotación del recurso besugo (Epigonus crassicaudus) en Chile
TL;DR: In this paper, the exploitation status of cardinalfish (Epigonus crassicaudus) yielded in Chile between 33° to 41°S was analyzed using a size-structured model with a transition matrix defining the changes among sizes.

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors analyzed the allocation of effective fishing effort and the standardization of cardinalfish (Epigonus crassicaudus) catch rates in the multispecies demersal trawl fishery off central Chile.
