[Cu(H2btec)(bipy)]∞: a novel metal organic framework (MOF) as heterogeneous catalyst for the oxidation of olefins

TL;DR: In this paper, a new extended metal-organic framework [Cu(H2btec)(bipy)]∞ (1) (H4btec= 1,2,4,5-benzenetetracarboxylic acid; bipy= 2,2′-bipyridine) has been hydrothermally synthesized.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis, structure and magnetic properties of the 2,2′-oxydiacetato-bridged Cu(II)–Ln(III) complexes [{Cu3Ln2(oda)6(H2O)6}·12H2O]n (Ln = Y, Gd, Eu, Nd, Pr)

TL;DR: In this article, the magnetic behaviors of these complexes show very weak antiferromagnetic interaction in the solid and their structures are determined by X-ray diffraction methods, including the magnetic behavior of the rare-earth cations and the carboxylate groups of the 2,2′-oxydiacetato.
Journal ArticleDOI

Gadolinium and neodymium citrates : Evidence for weak ferromagnetic exchange between gadolinium(III) cations

TL;DR: A new lanthanide citrate motif of general formula, where Ln = Gd (1) and Nd (2) and Hcit3- = C(OH)(COO-)(CH2COO-)2, has been synthesized hydrothermally from Ln2O3 and citric acid at 100 degrees C and characterized by elemental analysis, IR, TG-DTA, single-crystal X-ray diffraction, and magnetic measurements.
Journal ArticleDOI

Crystal structures and luminescent properties of terbium(III) carboxylates

TL;DR: Barja, Barja, and Carmen as discussed by the authors presented a study on the use of Quimica, Fisica de los Materiales, Medioambiente and Energia.
Journal ArticleDOI

New Ruthenium Nitrosyl Complexes with Tris(1-pyrazolyl)methane (tpm) and 2,2‘-Bipyridine (bpy) Coligands. Structure, Spectroscopy, and Electrophilic and Nucleophilic Reactivities of Bound Nitrosyl

TL;DR: The new compound [Ru(bpy)(tpm)NO](ClO4)3 [tpm = tris(1-pyrazolyl)methane; bpy = 2,2'-bipyridine] has been prepared in a stepwise procedure that involves the conversion of [ Ru( bpy)( tpm)Cl]+ into the aqua and nitro intermediates, followed by acidification.
