TL;DR: Most U.S. radiologists lack self-controlled online content within the first page of Google search results, and opportunities exist for individual radiologists, radiology groups, academic departments, and professional societies to amend their online presence, control the content patients discover, and improve the visibility of the field at large.

TL;DR: Even when aggressively pursued, Medicare's pay-for-performance program, PQRI, yields actual physician bonuses far less than those expected, more than an order of magnitude less than requisite incremental radiologist work, with little reported impact on quality.
