TL;DR: Reductions in thoracic and abdominal CT double-scan rates followed legislation mandating CMS initiatives designed to reduce costs and radiation, and Medicare policy initiatives directed toward imaging utilization seem to influence behavior differently for radiologists compared with nonradiologists.
