Journal ArticleDOI

Endoscopic vitreoretinal surgery for complicated proliferative diabetic retinopathy.

TL;DR: Endoscopic vitreoretinal surgery, by enhancing the visualization of the retroirideal space, is a useful technique in PDR with opaque ocular media and/or neovascularization of the pars plana and ciliary body.
Journal ArticleDOI

Measurement of the posterior precortical vitreous pocket in fellow eyes with posterior vitreous detachment and macular holes.

TL;DR: The PPVP was larger in fellow eyes in the macular hole group, which would be expected to cause a greater degree of force concentration and a more pronounced shifting of the direction of the force vector for anteroposterior tensile stress to one being more tangential to the surface of the retina in these patients.
Journal ArticleDOI

Cancer-associated Nummular Loss of the Pigment Epithelium

TL;DR: Although the fundus findings in BDUMP have been attributed to the proliferation of uveal melanocytic cells in the outer choroid in previous papers, this patient had nummular areas of loss of the retinal pigment epithelium as the apparent reason for visual decline.
Journal ArticleDOI

Atypical choroidal neovascularization in radiation retinopathy.

TL;DR: Choroidal neovascularization may be associated with radiation retinopathy and, when present, may require indocyanine green angiography for its diagnosis.
