TL;DR: It is shown that both clodronate and pamidronate induce apoptosis in isolated osteoclasts, and the results suggest that primarily cytoplasmic, protein kinase C-activated mechanisms are involved in the execution of clodRONate-induced apoptosis of osteoclast.
