TL;DR: In this paper, the authors examined the relationship of the entrepreneur's personality to long-term venture survival and found that conscientiousness was positively related to longterm venture survivability, while extraversion, emotional stability, agreeableness, conscientiousness, and openness to experience were negatively associated with the likelihood of survival.

Test of a model of coping with involuntary job loss following a company closing.
TL;DR: In this article, a model of response to involuntary job loss based on R. S. Lazarus and S. Folkman's theory of stress, appraisal, and coping was presented and tested, and the results indicated that coping resources are related both to the cognitive appraisal of job loss and the coping strategies developed in response to job loss.
