A theoretical NMR study of polymorphism in crystal structures of azoles and benzazoles

TL;DR: In this paper, the NMR chemical shifts of two azoles and one benzazole whose crystal structures present polymorphism have been computed using the GIPAW approach using 15 N and 13 C nuclei.
Journal ArticleDOI

Synthesis of bis(indazolyl)alkanes from 1-(hydroxyalkyl)indazoles

TL;DR: In this paper, an isomerization process is proposed as a mechanism for this reaction by comparison of these results with those obtained in the presence of p-toluenesulfonic acid and other 1-(hydroxyalkyl)indazoles.
Journal ArticleDOI

2,4-Bisimino-1,3-diazetidines: iminophosphoranes, carbodiimides and related betaines

TL;DR: In this paper, the crystal structures of betaines 8d and 8i have been determined and the relationship between the rotation about the [P N]-bond and the hybridization of the nitrogen is perturbated by the intramolecular phenyl-phenyl "stacking type" interaction in 8d, and by steric hindrance of the isopropyl substituent in 8i.
Journal ArticleDOI

Structural characterisation of 2,3-disubstituted pyrazines : NMR and X-ray crystallography

TL;DR: In this paper, the structure of compound 3 has been solved, it belongs to the monoclinic P21/n space group, and shows supramolecular architectures involving N-H⋯O and N-N-pyrazine intermolecular hydrogen bonds.
