The development of diagnostics methodological principles of the railway rolling stock on the basis of the analysis of dynamic vibration processes of the rail

TL;DR: The paper discusses the preconditions of the methodology development of diagnosis system for assessing dynamic impact of the rolling stock on the basis of processing and analysis of data obtained in operation on the results of measurement of parameters that characterize dynamic vibration processes of the mechanical system of “rolling stock – track”.
Journal ArticleDOI

Slipping and Skidding Occurrence Probability Decreasing by Means of the Friction Controlling in the Wheel-Braking Pad and Wheel-Rail Contacts

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors considered the question of slipping and skidding occurrence probability decreasing by means of the friction controlling in the wheel-braking pad and wheel-rail contacts and proposed a temperature control system based on the use of constructive and technological elements for the absorption and removal of heat from the friction pairs to the environment.
Journal ArticleDOI

Estimation of dynamic performances of the safe operation of high-speed electric train

TL;DR: The comprehensive study on the determination of the safety parameters of electric trains was conducted to determine the causes of destruction of bolster beams and the results of work will improve the safe operation of high-speed trains and increase the efficiency of estimates regarding the loading of bearing structures of underframes of the of rolling stock.
Journal ArticleDOI

Calculated estimation of railway wheels equivalent conicity influence on critical speed of railway passenger car

TL;DR: The article presents the results of determining the equivalent conicity characterizing the geometric interaction of wheels and rails on 1520 mm track gauge, and the necessity of considering the limit values of equivalent Conicity in tests of high speed rolling stock is emphasized.
Journal ArticleDOI

Investigation of the some problems of running safety of rolling stock on the Ukrainian railways

TL;DR: In this paper, the evaluation of the running safety conditions of railway vehicles is presented by means of computer simulation and the localization of possible damages of bearing structures of high-speed train is determined with the help of calculation of the strength characteristics and the method of non-destructive metallography.
