Journal ArticleDOI
Determination of the Effective Ground State Potential Energy Function of Ozone from High-Resolution Infrared Spectra
TL;DR: The present calculation produces results in significantly better agreement with experiment than previous determinations of the potential energy surface, and the energies predicted with the new surface are sufficiently accurate to be useful for the assignment of new high-resolution spectra.
Journal ArticleDOI
Methane Line Parameters in HITRAN
Linda R. Brown,D. Chris Benner,Jean-Paul Champion,V. M. Devi,L. Féjard,Robert R. Gamache,Tony Gabard,J.C. Hilico,Bruno Lavorel,Michel Loete,G.Ch. Mellau,Andrei Nikitin,A. S. Pine,Adriana Predoi-Cross,C.P. Rinsland,O. Robert,Robert L. Sams,Mary Ann H. Smith,S.A. Tashkun,Vladimir G. Tyuterev +19 more
TL;DR: Two editions of the methane line parameters (line positions, intensities and broadening coefficients) available from HITRAN in 2000 and 2001 are described in this paper, where the spectral interval covered was the same (from 0.01 to 6184.5 cm −1 ).
Journal ArticleDOI
Global fitting of 12c16o2 vibrational-rotational line positions using the effective hamiltonian approach
TL;DR: In this article, a reduced effective Hamiltonian built up to sixth order in the Amat-Nielsen ordering scheme has been obtained from an effective Hamiltonians describing all vibrational-rotational energy levels in the ground electronic state.
Journal ArticleDOI
A room temperature CO2 line list with ab initio computed intensities
Emil J. Zak,Jonathan Tennyson,Oleg L. Polyansky,Lorenzo Lodi,N. F. Zobov,S.A. Tashkun,Valery I. Perevalov +6 more
TL;DR: In this article, a theoretical model was developed to compute CO2 intensities with uncertainty estimates informed by cross comparing line lists calculated using pairs of potential energy surfaces (PES) and DMSs of similar high quality.
Journal ArticleDOI
Global fit of 12C16O2 vibrational–rotational line intensities using the effective operator approach
TL;DR: More than 5000 observed line intensities belonging to 120 vibrational bands of the 12C16O2 molecule selected from the literature have been used to fit 60 parameters of an effective dipole moment as mentioned in this paper.
