Journal ArticleDOI
High-pressure Raman study of the ternary chalcogenides TlGaS2, TlGaSe2, TlInS2, and TlInSe2
TL;DR: In this article, the structure of monoclinic TlGa$ and TlIn$ has been investigated as a function of pressure at constant temperatures (300 and 110 K).
Journal ArticleDOI
Cubic ZnS under pressure: Optical-absorption edge, phase transition, and calculated equation of state
TL;DR: X-ray diffraction shows the high-pressure phase of ZnS to have the NaCl-type structure for pressures up to at least 27 GPa, and this phase is not metallic but shows a broad optical-absorption edge with onset near 2 eV, which is characteristic of an indirect-gap material.
Journal ArticleDOI
Temperature dependence of exciton peak energies in ZnS, ZnSe, and ZnTe epitaxial films
R. Pässler,E. Griebl,H. Riepl,G. Lautner,S. Bauer,H. Preis,W. Gebhardt,B. Buda,Donat Josef As,D. Schikora,Klaus Lischka,Konstantinos Papagelis,S. Ves +12 more
TL;DR: In this article, high-quality ZnS, ZnSe, and ZnTe epitaxial films were grown on (001)-GaAs-substrates by molecular beam epitaxy.
Journal ArticleDOI
Pressure dependence of the optical properties and the band structure of the copper and silver halides
Journal ArticleDOI
Raman study of Mg, Si, O, and N implanted GaN
TL;DR: In this article, the effect of ion implantation in epitaxially grown GaN samples has been studied using Raman spectroscopy and it was found that implantation increases the static disorder and activates modes that were not allowed in the as-grown material More specifically it causes the appearance of three additional Raman peaks at 300, 420, and 670 cm−1.
