Effect of controlled atmosphere storage on pericarp browning, bioactive compounds and antioxidant enzymes of litchi fruits.
TL;DR: 1% O2+5% CO2 CA-conditions delayed pericarp browning, maintained antioxidative activities and biochemical characteristics along with better organoleptic quality of litchi fruit for 35days.
Journal ArticleDOI
Dynamic common correlated effects of trade openness, FDI, and institutional performance on environmental quality: evidence from OIC countries
TL;DR: According to DCCE estimation, trade openness, FDI, and urbanization have a positive and significant relationship with ecological footprint while a significant and negative association is found between institutional performance and ecological footprint.

Aloe vera gel coating delays postharvest browning and maintains quality of harvested litchi fruit
Sajid Ali,Sajid Ali,Ahmad Khan,Aamir Nawaz,Muhammad Akbar Anjum,Safina Naz,Shaghef Ejaz,Sajjad Hussain +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, Aloe vera (ALV) gel coating was applied to litchi fruit for 8 d to investigate its effect on browning and postharvest quality, which showed reduced browning index, weight loss, superoxide anion, relative electrolyte leakage, hydrogen peroxide and malondialdehyde content.
