Journal ArticleDOI
Active tectonics of the onshore Hengchun Fault using UAS DSM combined with ALOS PS-InSAR time series (Southern Taiwan)
Benoît Deffontaines,Kuo-Jen Chang,Johann Champenois,Kuan Chuan Lin,Chyi Tyi Lee,Rou-Fei Chen,Jyr-Ching Hu,Samuel Magalhaes +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, the Hengchun and Kenting faults were studied from a geodynamic point of view and a very high precision digital surface model (DSM) and a georeferenced aerial photograph mosaic of the studied area.
Journal ArticleDOI
Neotectonics of the Southern Hengchun Peninsula (Taiwan): Inputs from high resolution UAS Digital Terrain Model, updated geological mapping and PSInSAR techniques
Benoît Deffontaines,Benoît Deffontaines,Kuo-Jen Chang,Kuo-Jen Chang,Chyi Tyi Lee,Chyi Tyi Lee,Samuel Magalhaes,Gregory Serries +7 more
TL;DR: In this article, a high-resolution UAS Digital Terrain Model (DTM) is proposed to characterize and quantify the active interseismic tectonic structures (active folds and faults) during the SAR monitoring time-period.
Journal ArticleDOI
Neotectonics of the volcanic Kuei-Shan Tao island, and geodynamic implications (NE Taiwan - SW Okinawa Trough)
Benoît Deffontaines,Kuo-Jen Chang,Pichun Huang,Ho-Han Hsu,S. Hsu,Char-Shine Liu,Chyi Tyi Lee,Samuel Magalhaes,G Fortunato +8 more
TL;DR: In this paper , a high-resolution UAS-drone topography (Digital Surface Model) was acquired through photogrammetric processing, with a ground resolution <10 cm.
Book ChapterDOI
Seismic Cycle of the Southern Apennine Deformation Front: The Taranto Gulf Marine Terraces Inputs and Implications
TL;DR: Sauer et al. as discussed by the authors used both fieldwork and GIS software associated to new soil data to precisely locate the location of the Metaponto-Pisticci staircase which appear to be situated above the first thrusting unit of the southern Apennine orogen corresponding to the deformation front.
