Distinct genome-wide methylation patterns in sporadic and hereditary nonfunctioning pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors.

TL;DR: Aberrant methylation is a known cause of cancer initiation and/or progression and there are scant data on the genome‐wide methylation pattern of nonfunctioning pancreatic neuroendocrine tumors and sporadic and hereditary NFPanNETs.
Journal ArticleDOI

Comparative evaluation of genotoxicity by micronucleus assay in the buccal mucosa over comet assay in peripheral blood in oral precancer and cancer patients

TL;DR: The extent of DNA damage evaluation by the comet assay in peripheral blood cells is perfectly reflected by the MN assay on oral exfoliated epithelial cells, and MNi frequency can be used with the same effectiveness and greater efficiency in early detection of oral premalignant conditions.
Journal Article

Studies on arsenic toxicity in male rat gonads and its protection by high dietary protein supplementation.

TL;DR: It is proposed that high protein diet supplementation may be effective to recovery from the toxic effect of arsenic on male gonad of rat and altered gonadal features were found significantly ameliorated.
