TL;DR: Murine monoclonal antibodies (mAbs) were generated using group B Neisseria meningitidis and Escherichia coli K1 polysaccharides and were used to identify the immunodeterminants expressed on these capsular PSs, some of which elicit bactericidal antibodies.
