Synthesis of 15O-labeled butanol via organoborane chemistry.
George W. Kabalka,Richard M. Lambrecht,Munawwar Sajjad,Joanna S. Fowler,Sastry A. Kunda,Gary W. McCollum,Robert R. MacGregor +6 more
TL;DR: Oxygen-15 labeled 1- butanol and 2-butanol were prepared by the reaction of O2-15O with tri-n-butylborane and tri-sec-butelborane in tetrahydrofuran.
Journal ArticleDOI
Chlorination of organoboranes: synthesis of (z)-vinyl chlorides
TL;DR: Chloration d'(alcene-1yl dihydroxy) boranes et obtention stereoselective de cis-chloro-1 alcenes as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis of carbon-13 labeled aldehydes, carboxylic acids, and alcohols via organoborane chemistry
TL;DR: Synthese des aldehydes(I) par carbonylation avec 13 CO d'alkyl-9bora-9bicyclo [3.3.1] nonane.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis of Oxygen-17 Labeled Alcohols Via Organoborane Reactions
TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed a method to produce volatile, unsubstituted alcohols from a suitable acetal or ketal with oxygen-17 labeled water followed by reduction of the oxygen labeled carbonyl compounds.
Journal ArticleDOI
Synthesis of dialkylamines via the reaction of organoboranes with N-chloroalkylamines
TL;DR: The trialkylboranes with n-chloroalkylamines were used to produce a wide variety of functionally substituted dialkylamines in good yield as mentioned in this paper, and the possibility of a competitive free-radical reaction occurring is evidenced by the formation of alkyl chlorides as byproducts.
