Butte,Euan A. Ashley,Mark Gerstein,Kari C. Nadeau,Hua Tang,Michael Snyder +40 more
TL;DR: This study demonstrates that longitudinal iPOP can be used to interpret healthy and diseased states by connecting genomic information with additional dynamic omics activity and reveals extensive heteroallelic changes during healthy and disease states and an unexpected RNA editing mechanism.
Journal ArticleDOI
Phase 1 results of safety and tolerability in a rush oral immunotherapy protocol to multiple foods using Omalizumab
Philippe Bégin,Tina Dominguez,Shruti P. Wilson,Liane Bacal,Anjuli Mehrotra,Bethany Kausch,Anthony Trela,Morvarid Tavassoli,Elisabeth G. Hoyte,Gerri O'Riordan,Alanna Blakemore,Scott Seki,Robert G. Hamilton,Kari C. Nadeau +13 more
TL;DR: These phase 1 data demonstrate that rush OIT to multiple foods with 16 weeks of treatment with omalizumab could allow for a fast desensitization in subjects with multiple food allergies.
Journal ArticleDOI
Safety and feasibility of oral immunotherapy to multiple allergens for food allergy.
Philippe Bégin,Lisa C. Winterroth,Tina Dominguez,Shruti P. Wilson,Liane Bacal,Anjuli Mehrotra,Bethany Kausch,Anthony Trela,Elisabeth G. Hoyte,Gerri O'Riordan,Scott Seki,Alanna Blakemore,Margie Woch,Robert G. Hamilton,Kari C. Nadeau +14 more
TL;DR: Preliminary data show oral immunotherapy using multiple food allergens simultaneously to be feasible and relatively safe when performed in a hospital setting with trained personnel.
Journal ArticleDOI
Immunomodulatory effect of vancomycin on Treg in pediatric inflammatory bowel disease and primary sclerosing cholangitis
David N. Abarbanel,Scott Seki,Yinka K. Davies,Natalie Marlen,Joseph A. Benavides,Kathleen M. Cox,Kari C. Nadeau,Kenneth L. Cox +7 more
TL;DR: Examination of in vivo immunological changes that occur during OV treatment of 14 children with PSC and IBD support immune-related pathophysiology of PSC with IBD, which is responsive to OV.
Journal ArticleDOI
Identification of STAT5A and STAT5B Target Genes in Human T Cells
Takahiro Kanai,Scott Seki,Jennifer A. Jenks,Arunima Kohli,Trupti Kawli,Dorrelyn Patacsil Martin,Michael Snyder,Rosa Bacchetta,Kari C. Nadeau +8 more
TL;DR: Signal transducer and activator of transcription (STAT) comprises a family of universal transcription factors that help cells sense and respond to environmental signals, and a novel, unique role for STAT5A is found in binding to genes involved in neural development and function, while STAT5B appears to play a distinct role in T cell development andfunction via DOCK8, SNX9, FOXP3 and IL2RA binding.
