A Criterion for the Onset of Chaos in Compact, Eccentric Multiplanet Systems

TL;DR: In this article, the authors derived a semi-analytic criterion for the presence of chaos in compact, eccentric multi-planar systems and showed that the onset of chaos is determined by the overlap of two-body mean motion resonances (MMRs).

Relaxation in stellar systems and the shape and rotation of the inner dark halo

TL;DR: In this paper, the dynamical interactions between the galactic disk and structures in the dark halo were investigated, and two possible candidates for the required halo structures are massive black holes and tidal streamers from disrupted precursor halos.
