Schottky Electric Field Induced Circular Photogalvanic Effect in Cd3As2 Nanobelts

TL;DR: In this paper , the Schottky symmetry breaking mechanism was used to enable the manifestation of the circular photogalvanic effect (CPGE) in Cd 3 As 2 nanobelt transistors when the photoexcitation is focused in the vicinity of the metal contacts up to room temperature.

Local self-energy approach for electronic structure calculations

TL;DR: A novel self-consistent implementation of Hedin's perturbation theory is used for electronic structure calculations of real solids using a perturbative impurity solver and finds it to be local in real space and rapidly convergent on second- to third-nearest neighbors.

Buckling and d-Wave Pairing in HiTc-Superconductors

TL;DR: In this paper, the electron-phonon interaction can support a d-wave gap anisotropy in materials with buckled or dimpled CuO 2 planes for the so-called buckling modes, which involve out-of-plane movements of the planar oxygen atoms.
