Journal ArticleDOI

Efficacy and safety of lanreotide in Korean patients with metastatic, well-differentiated gastroenteropancreatic-neuroendocrine tumors: a retrospective analysis.

TL;DR: Lanreotide is well-tolerated and effective for Korean patients with GEP-NETs in the daily practice setting and Hepatic tumor volume and prior systemic therapy were significantly associated with poorer PFS in the multivariate analysis.
Journal ArticleDOI

Prognostic Significance of CD44v6, CD133, CD166, and ALDH1 Expression in Small Intestinal Adenocarcinoma.

TL;DR: Evaluation of the combined CD133 and CD44v6 expression could be a useful tool for predicting a poor outcome in patients with SIAC.
Journal ArticleDOI

Chronic intractable diarrhea caused by gastrointestinal mastocytosis.

TL;DR: The patient was a 70-year-old male with chronic intractable diarrhea for 3 months; the cause of the diarrhea remained obscure even after exhaustive evaluation, however, biopsy specimens from the jejunum were found to have increased mast cell infiltration, and the patient was successfully treated with antihistamines.
Journal ArticleDOI

Biliary intraductal tubule-forming neoplasm: a whole exome sequencing study of MUC5AC-positive and -negative cases.

TL;DR: This study aimed to elucidate genetic features of biliary intraductal tubular neoplasms and classify these as ‘intraductals of the bile duct (IPNBs) of gastric type’.
Journal ArticleDOI

AP-2γ Protein Expression in Intratubular Germ Cell Neoplasia of Testis

TL;DR: DNA binding sites in the promoter region for AP-2γ in the PLAP and c- kit genes might explain the concordance of protein expression in intratubular germ cell neoplasia.
