TL;DR: An actinomycete strain, ID05-A0528(T), was isolated using the SDS-yeast extract pre-treatment method from soil under mahogany trees in West Timor, Indonesia, and was examined by using a polyphasic taxonomic approach, demonstrating that the novel strain belongs to the genus Dietzia.
Journal ArticleDOI
Actinokineospora baliensis sp. nov., Actinokineospora cibodasensis sp. nov. and Actinokineospora cianjurensis sp. nov., isolated from soil and plant litter
Puspita Lisdiyanti,Misa Otoguro,Shanti Ratnakomala,Yulin Lestari,Ratih D. Hastuti,Evi Triana,Ando Katsuhiko,Yantyati Widyastuti +7 more
TL;DR: Six actinomycete strains isolated from soil and plant-litter samples in Indonesia were studied for their taxonomic position by using a polyphasic approach and revealed three DNA-DNA relatedness groups.
Journal ArticleDOI
The effect of Lactobacillus plantarum 1A-2 and 1BL-2 inoculant on the quality of napier grass silage
TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of adding Lactic acid bacteria inoculants to Napier grass at ensiling on the quality of silage was investigated, and the results showed that the 1A-2 inoculant treatment lowered the pH between 3.67 to 4.18 and increased the lactate level of the grass silage 0.34 mg mL-1 compared with the control and other treatments.
Journal Article
Pengaruh Penambahan Dedak Padi dan Lactobacillus plantarum 1BL-2 dalam Pembuatan Silase Rumput Gajah (Pennisetum purpureum)
TL;DR: The results showed that the addition of 1%-5% rice bran significantly affected the quality of napier grass silages and Lactobacillus plantarum 1BL-2 addition.
Journal ArticleDOI
Actinophytocola timorensis sp. nov. and Actinophytocola corallina sp. nov., isolated from soil
Misa Otoguro,Hideki Yamamura,Hideki Yamamura,Tomohiko Tamura,Rohmatussolihat Irzaldi,Shanti Ratnakomala,Roni Ridwan,Gina Kartina,Evi Triana,Arif Nurkanto,Yulin Lestari,Puspita Lisdiyanti,Yantyati Widyastuti,Katsuhiko Ando +13 more
TL;DR: On the basis of phenotypic characteristics, DNA-DNA relatedness and 16S rRNA gene sequence comparisons, strains ID05-A0653(T) and ID06-A0464 (T) each represent a novel species of the genus Actinophytocola, for which the names Actinomycete timorensis sp.
