Spiking neural network decoder for brain-machine interfaces

TL;DR: A spiking neural network is used to decode neural data recorded from a 96-electrode array in premotor/motor cortex while a rhesus monkey performed a point-to-point reaching arm movement task to demonstrate that a SNN can implement a statistical signal processing algorithm widely used as the decoder in high-performance neural prostheses (Kalman filter), and achieve similar results with just a few thousand neurons.
Book ChapterDOI

IC-Package-System Integration Design

TL;DR: More-than-Moore techniques have been proposed, which explore new dimensionality of integration by creating and integrating non-digital functionality to semiconductor products, which motivate new technological possibilities and unlimited application potential.

System-In-Package: Electrical and Layout Perspectives

TL;DR: This paper surveys the electrical and layout perspectives of SiP, and first introduces package technologies, and then presents SiP design flow and design exploration.
