Journal ArticleDOI
The Milan System for Reporting Salivary Gland Cytopathology: Assessment of Cytohistological Concordance and Risk of Malignancy.
TL;DR: FNAC is an excellent procedure to differentiate benign from malignant tumors, and MSRSGC is a useful system for risk assessment and deciding the further treatment protocol, according to the cytohistological concordance and ROM calculated based on the clinical and histopathological follow-up.
Journal ArticleDOI
Low‐grade oncocytic tumour of the kidney is characterised by genetic alterations of TSC1, TSC2, MTOR or PIK3CA and consistent GATA3 positivity
Sean R. Williamson,Ondrej Hes,Kiril Trpkov,Aditi Aggarwal,Abhishek Satapathy,Sourav Mishra,Shivani Sharma,Ankur R. Sangoi,Liang Cheng,Mahmut Akgul,Muhammad Idrees,Albert M. Levin,Sudha M. TL;DR: Recurrent tuberous sclerosis / MTOR pathway gene alterations in LOT supports its consideration as a distinct morphologic, immunohistochemical, and genetic entity, and PIK3CA is another pathway member that may be altered in these tumors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Application of the International System for Reporting Serous Fluid Cytopathology in routine reporting of pleural effusion and assessment of the risk of malignancy.
TL;DR: The International System for Reporting Serous Fluid Cytopathology (ISRSFC) was proposed by the International Academy of Cytology and the American Society of Cytopathy as discussed by the authors.
Journal ArticleDOI
Primary colonic liposarcomatosis: report of a case with review of literature.
TL;DR: This work depicts the second case of primary colonic liposarcomatosis in a 57-year-old female who presented with abdominal swelling and pain and shows the morphology of well-differentiated lipOSarcoma.
Journal ArticleDOI
Primary round cell sarcomas of the urinary bladder with EWSR1 rearrangement: a multi-institutional study of thirteen cases with a review of the literature.
Manas R Baisakh,Ankit Tiwari,Jatin S. Gandhi,Subhasini Naik,Shailendra Sharma,Bonnie Balzer,Shivani Sharma,Kamal Peddinti,Shilpy Jha,Pradeepa K. Sahu,Dinesh Pradhan,Matthew Geller,Mahul B. Amin,Jasreman Dhillon,Sambit K. Mohanty +14 more
TL;DR: Based on the experience with the largest series to date and aggregate of published data, ES/round cell sarcomas with EWSR1 rearrangement occurring in the bladder have bimodal age distribution with poor prognosis despite aggressive therapy.
