Journal ArticleDOI

Control of unstable mechanical system Control of pendulum

TL;DR: In this article, a composite control system is designed to stabilize the inverted pendulum and swing the pendulum from the natural pendent position up to the inverted position, which is actually made.
Journal ArticleDOI

A Note on Particle Flow Methods for Solving Bayesian Updates

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors revisited the theoretical foundation of the Daum-Huang particle filter concepts for solving Bayesian updating problems and reexamine the defining necessary and sufficient condition, in the form of an operator equation, for a flow to generate a particular homotopy between the a priori and the a posteriori probability density functions.
Journal ArticleDOI

The compatibility of regulator to the variation of plant dynamics

TL;DR: In this article, the compatibility of the given observer to the plant is comprehensively discussed when the plant changes its dynamic characteristics, and the class of plants compatible to the observer is characterized in both cases that observer is used in the open loop and used as a regulator in the closed loop.
