Combustion-impregnation preparation of Ni/SiO2 catalyst with improved low-temperature activity for CO2 methanation

TL;DR: In this article, a facile combustion-impregnation method was developed to prepare the SiO2 supported Ni catalysts, which showed that small Ni particles and massive Ni-SiO2 interface could be obtained due to the "combustion" process.
Journal ArticleDOI

Improved performance of Ni/Al2O3 catalyst deriving from the hydrotalcite precursor synthesized on Al2O3 support for dry reforming of methane

TL;DR: In this paper, the effect of NiAl-LDH structure on the catalytic activity and anti-coking ability of Ni/Al2O3 catalyst with hydrotalcite precursor was revealed.
Journal ArticleDOI

Highly active Ni/CeO2/SiO2 catalyst for low-temperature CO2 methanation: Synergistic effect of small Ni particles and optimal amount of CeO2

TL;DR: In this paper , a highly active Ni/CeO2/SiO2 catalyst is developed by a combustion-impregnation method, and the synergistic effect of active sites for H2 and CO2 activation are studied.
Journal ArticleDOI

ZnS/g-C3N4 heterojunction with Zn-vacancy for efficient hydrogen evolution in water splitting driven by visible light

TL;DR: In this article , a rapid microwave method with a proper number density of defects such that they become efficient photocatalysts for hydrogen evolution reaction was proposed. But this method requires a large number of defects to be removed from the ZnS/g-C3N4 nanocomposites.
Journal ArticleDOI

Study on the Synergistic Catalysis of CeO2 Regulated Co0–Coδ+ Dual Sites for Direct Synthesis of Higher Alcohols from Syngas

TL;DR: A series of carbon nanotubes (CNTs)-supported cobalt-ceria catalysts were designed, synthesized, and tested in a fixed-bed reactor for selectively converting syngas into higher alcohols and long chain hydrocarbons as mentioned in this paper .
