Journal ArticleDOI
Involvement of reactive oxygen species and auxin in serotonin-induced inhibition of primary root elongation.
TL;DR: The data indicate that high concentrations of serotonin result in stress responses in plants by inhibiting PR elongation through the regulation of H2O2 and O2- distribution in PR tips and through an auxin pathway via the repression of auxin biosynthesis and transport.
Journal ArticleDOI
cGMP is involved in Zn tolerance through the modulation of auxin redistribution in root tips
Ping Zhang,Ping Zhang,Liangliang Sun,Jun Qin,Jinpeng Wan,Jinpeng Wan,Ruling Wang,Shuang Li,Shuang Li,Jin Xu +9 more
TL;DR: It is reported that excess Zn leads to auxin accumulation in root tips, as indicated by DR5:GUS expression, and that PIN4 is involved in cGMP-modulated root development in Zn-treated seedlings.
Journal ArticleDOI
ABCF3 regulates the expression of aquaporin genes and endoplasmic reticulum stress-related genes in Arabidopsis
Shuang Li,Shuang Li,Dong Li,Ping Zhang,Ping Zhang,Ruling Wang,Liangliang Sun,Jinpeng Wan,Jinpeng Wan,Jin Xu +9 more
TL;DR: It is shown that ABCF3 regulates stress response by modulating aquaporin gene expression and ER stress responses in Arabidopsis through regulating H2O2 uptake and endoplasmic reticulum stress responses.
