Compact Harmonic Filter Design and Fabrication Using IPD Technology

TL;DR: In this paper, an integrated passive device (IPD) technology has been developed to meet the ever increasing needs of size and cost reduction in radio front-end transceiver module applications, which includes a thick plated gold metal process to reduce resistive loss; MIM capacitors using PECVD SiN dielectric layer; airbridges for inductor underpass and capacitor pick-up; and a 10 mil finished GaAs substrate to improve inductor quality factor.

A Post-Processing De-Embedding Technique and Effect of TRL Measurement Using an Incorrect Fixturing

Compact low and high band harmonic filters using an integrated passives device (IPD) technology

TL;DR: In this paper, a compact harmonic low and high band filters for RF front-end transmit modules using an IPD technology are demonstrated, with insertion loss below 0.5 dB and harmonic rejection close to or greater than 20 dB over the entire frequency band.
