Recent developments in flame retardant polymeric coatings
TL;DR: A review of flame retardant polymeric coatings can be found in this paper, where the authors focus on various approaches in development of flame-retardant coatings on various substrates i.e. incorporation of reactive and non-reactive organic compounds and organic/inorganic compounds (hybrid systems) based on metal, Si, P, N and halogens in suitable polymeric matrices and evaluation of their flame- retardant characteristics using various analytical techniques.

Flame retardancy and thermal decomposition of flexible polyurethane foams: Structural influence of organophosphorus compounds
TL;DR: In this paper, the structural effect of different phosphorus compounds on the flame retardant (FR) properties of flexible polyurethane foams (FPUF) was investigated, and a series of organophosphorus compounds (phosphonates, phosphates and phosphoramidates) with systematical structure variations were synthesized and incorporated into the flexible foam during its polymerization process.
