Journal ArticleDOI
MRI to assess deep myometrial invasion in patients with endometrial cancer:A multi-reader study to evaluate the diagnostic role of different sequences
Arnaldo Stanzione,Simone Maurea,Roberta Danzi,Renato Cuocolo,Roberta Galatola,Valeria Romeo,Antonio Raffone,Antonio Travaglino,Attilio Di Spiezio Sardo,Luigi Insabato,Leonardo Pace,Mariano Scaglione,Arturo Brunetti,Pier Paolo Mainenti +13 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors performed a multi-reader evaluation of such sequences to identify the most accurate and its reliability for the best protocol for the detection of deep myometrial invasion (DMI).
Journal ArticleDOI
COVID-19 vaccine-induced lymphadenopathies: incidence, course and imaging features from an ultrasound prospective study
Valeria Romeo,Arnaldo Stanzione,Divina D’Auria,Ludovica Fulgione,Fabio Giusto,Simone Maurea,Arturo Brunetti +6 more
TL;DR: In this article , the authors evaluated the incidence, course and ultrasound imaging features of vaccine-induced lymphadenopathy, including absence of fatty hilum, round shape and diffuse or asymmetric cortical thickness (median cortical thickness of 5 mm).
Journal ArticleDOI
Characterization of Atypical Pheochromocytomas with Correlative MRI and Planar/Hybrid Radionuclide Imaging: A Preliminary Study
Roberta Galatola,Ludovica Attanasio,Valeria Romeo,Ciro Mainolfi,Michele Klain,Chiara Simeoli,Roberta Modica,Elia Guadagno,Giovanni Aprea,Luca Basso,Emanuele Nicolai,Marco Salvatore,Simone Maurea +12 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the results of magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) with those of radionuclide studies in patients with pheochromocytomas were correlated to those of CT and MRI.
Journal ArticleDOI
David Against Goliath: Direct Comparison of Handheld Bowel Sonography and Magnetic Resonance Enterography for Diagnosis of Crohn's Disease.
Antonio Rispo,Roberto de Sire,Pier Paolo Mainenti,Nicola Imperatore,Anna Testa,Simone Maurea,Simona Ricciolino,Olga Maria Nardone,O. Olmo,Fabiana Castiglione +9 more
TL;DR: Handheld bowel sonography and MRE are 2 accurate and noninvasive procedures for diagnosis of Crohn's disease, although MRE is more sensitive in defining extension, location, and complications.
Journal Article
Magnetic resonance in the study of suprarenal neoplasms. Qualitative and quantitative analysis of signal intensity
Simone Maurea,Corradina Caracò,L Castelli,S Filice,B. Alfano,F Ruffolo,Mario Ziviello,Marco Salvatore +7 more
TL;DR: The qualitative analysis of MR SI on conventional T1 and T2 images does not permit to differentiate adrenal masses, and qualitative evaluation of T1 images after Gd-DTPA administration, the quantitative analysis and CS sequences are technical options improving lesion characterization.
