Association of Human Papillomavirus Status at Head and Neck Carcinoma Subsites With Overall Survival.
Hong Li,Sina J. Torabi,Wendell G. Yarbrough,Saral Mehra,Saral Mehra,Heather A. Osborn,Heather A. Osborn,Benjamin L. Judson,Benjamin L. Judson +8 more
TL;DR: Human papillomavirus positivity was associated with improved survival in 4 subsites (oropharynx, hypopharynX, oral cavity, and larynx), and the largest survival difference was noted in the oropharynx and hypopharyx subsites.
Journal ArticleDOI
Outpatient Otolaryngology in the Era of COVID-19: A Data-Driven Analysis of Practice Patterns.
TL;DR: A major decrease in the completion rates of scheduled visits was seen in the COVID-19–affected period, though this was not proportional among subspecialties and an associated increase in telehealth visits was observed.
Journal ArticleDOI
HPV status in unknown primary head and neck cancer: Prognosis and treatment outcomes.
Shayan Cheraghlou,Sina J. Torabi,Z.A. Husain,Michael Otremba,Heather A. Osborn,Saral Mehra,Wendell G. Yarbrough,Barbara Burtness,Barbara Burtness,Benjamin L. Judson +9 more
TL;DR: This work aims to evaluate the treatment‐related outcomes for HPV‐associated and HPV‐negative HNCUP, and proposed treatment deintensification has been proposed for a subset of these patients.
Journal ArticleDOI
Clinical value of transoral robotic surgery: Nationwide results from the first 5 years of adoption.
Hong Li,Sina J. Torabi,Henry S. Park,Henry S. Park,Wendell G. Yarbrough,Wendell G. Yarbrough,Saral Mehra,Saral Mehra,Rachel Choi,Benjamin L. Judson,Benjamin L. Judson +10 more
TL;DR: To compare long‐term oncologic outcomes and adjuvant therapies for patients treated with transoral robotic surgery (TORS), nonrobotic surgery, or transoral laser microsurgery (TLM) is compared.
Journal ArticleDOI
COVID-19's Impact on the 2020-2021 Resident Match: A Survey of Otolaryngology Program Directors.
TL;DR: Virtual interviews and engagement activities will mostly supplant sub-Is and AR for the 2020-2021 OTO-HNS application cycle, and surveyed PDs largely believe these will be insufficient in providing a comprehensive assessment of candidates, and will similarly limit applicants’ ability to gauge residency programs.
