Journal ArticleDOI

A novel, Z-scheme ZnO@AC@FeO photocatalyst, suitable for the intensification of photo-mediated peroxymonosulfate activation: Performance, reactivity and bisphenol A degradation pathways.

TL;DR: In this paper , the authors used ZnO nanoparticles coupled with activated carbon (AC), impregnated by ferroferric oxides (FO, magnetite), as an effective Z-scheme photocatalyst (ZACFO) to achieve the effective Bisphenol A (BP-A) removal.
Journal ArticleDOI

Photocatalytic degradation of dibenzothiophene using La/PEG-modified TiO2 under visible light irradiation

TL;DR: In this article, the photocatalytic degradation of Dibenzothiophene (DBT) under visible light irradiation was investigated for the first time using the newly synthesized photocatalyst.
Journal ArticleDOI

Effects of electrophoretic deposition parameters on the photocatalytic activity of TiO2 films: Optimization by response surface methodology

TL;DR: In this article, the effect of four key coating parameters (i.e., applied voltage, calcination temperature, photocatalyst weight percentage, and deposition time) on the photocatalytic degradation was investigated.
Journal ArticleDOI

Promoting surface oxygen vacancies on ceria via light pretreatment to enhance catalytic ozonation

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors demonstrate that, on pre-treating ceria with UV light, its performance in the catalytic ozonation of salicylic acid (SA) can be enhanced three-fold relative to the untreated catalyst as well as outperforming hydrogen-reduced ceria.
Journal ArticleDOI

Project Managers’ Competencies in Collaborative Construction Projects

TL;DR: In this article, the authors proposed 10 core competencies for project managers in collaborative construction projects, e.g., group capabilities, language proficiency, and leveraging diversity, as well as a set of supportive competencies.
