Endotoxin-tolerant Mice Have Mutations in Toll-like Receptor 4 (Tlr4)
Salman T. Qureshi,Line Larivière,Gary Leveque,Sophie Clermont,Karen J. Moore,Philippe Gros,Danielle Malo +6 more
TL;DR: Identification of distinct mutations involving the same gene at the Lps locus in two different hyporesponsive inbred mouse strains strongly supports the hypothesis that altered Tlr4 function is responsible for endotoxin tolerance.
Journal ArticleDOI
A high-resolution map in the chromosomal region surrounding the Lps locus.
Salman T. Qureshi,Salman T. Qureshi,Line Larivière,Line Larivière,Giovanna Sebastiani,Giovanna Sebastiani,Sophie Clermont,Sophie Clermont,Emil Skamene,Emil Skamene,Philippe Gros,Philippe Gros,Danielle Malo,Danielle Malo +13 more
TL;DR: To identify the Lps gene by a positional cloning strategy, a high-resolution linkage map of the chromosomal region surrounding this locus is generated and several centimorgans proximal to that previously assigned are identified.
Journal ArticleDOI
Mouse hepatitis virus-3 induced prothrombinase (Fgl2) maps to proximal chromosome 5
Salman T. Qureshi,Sophie Clermont,Julian L. Leibowitz,Lai Sum Fung,Gary A. Levy,Danielle Malo +5 more
TL;DR: Genetic linkage in the form of an identical strain distribution pattern was established between susceptibility to infection with MHV-3 and inducible macrophage PCA, using the set of AXB/BXA recombinant inbred strains derived from resistant (A/J) and susceptible (C57BL/6J) progenitors.
