Benzocyclobutene Polymer as an Additive for a Benzocyclobutene-Fullerene: Application in Stable p-i-n Perovskite Solar Cells
Marie-Hélène Tremblay,Kelly Schutt,Federico Pulvirenti,Thorsten Schultz,Berthold Wegner,Xiaojia Jia,Yadong Zhang,Elena Longhi,Raghunath R. Dasari,Canek Fuentes-Hernandez,Bernard Kippelen,Norbert Koch,Henry J. Snaith,Stephen Barlow,Seth R. Marder +14 more
TL;DR: In this article, a poly(methacrylate) with benzocyclobutene side chains, CL, has been synthesized by radical polymerization for use as a crosslinking additive for a previously reported benzocyte-functionalized fullerene, PCBCB, which can be thermally insolubilized following solution processing.
Journal ArticleDOI
Fabrication of a Blue $M\times N$ Pixel Organic Light-Emitting Diode Video Display Incorporating a Thermally Stable Emitter
Andreas Haldi,Jungbae Kim,Benoit Domercq,Abhishek P. Kulkarni,Stephen Barlow,Angela P. Gifford,Samson A. Jenekhe,Seth R. Marder,Bernard Kippelen +8 more
TL;DR: In this article, a 7 times 11 pixel blue OLED display was fabricated using a patterned indium-tin-oxide (ITO) substrate and an efficient and thermally stable blue fluorescent organic material, 6,6'-bis((2-p -biphenyl)-4-phenylquinoline) (B2PPQ), was used in combination with an evaporated hole-transport small molecule with a high ionization potential.
Journal ArticleDOI
Energy-Level Alignment in 4′-Substituted Stilbene-4-thiolate Self-Assembled Monolayers on Gold
Michał Malicki,Georg Heimel,Zelei Guan,Sieu D. Ha,Stephen Barlow,Antoine Kahn,Seth R. Marder +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, a comparison of the measured hole-injection barriers into SAM1−3 with the electrochemically estimated molecular ionization energies reveals that the influence of the 4′-substituent in the stilbene backbone on the holeinjection barrier is greatly suppressed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Hybrid Organic Lead Iodides: Role of Organic Cation Structure in Obtaining 1D Chains of Face-Sharing Octahedra vs 2D Perovskites
Marie-Helene Tremblay,Allyson J Boyington,Sergei Rigin,Jie Mei Jiang,John Bacsa,Khaled Al Kurdi,Victor N. Khrustalev,Ruth Pachter,Tatiana V. Timofeeva,Nathan T. Jui,Stephen Barlow,Seth R. Marder +11 more
TL;DR: A total of 16 new hybrid organic lead iodide crystal structures, 11 of which are FSLICs, are reported in this paper , and they can be further categorized according to the arrangement of neighboring wires.
