TL;DR: The authors explored how novice researchers perceive themselves as being the research instrument in the process of gaining interviewing experience, and found that the most appropriate informants of such a study would be novice researchers who might be more prone to be influenced by their own subjectivity, or at least less aware of it than seasoned researchers.
