TL;DR: Urodynamics has not helped us to predict which woman will remain incontinent after urethropexy, which one will develop detrusor instability de novo after surgery, and which patient with combined detusor instability and sphincter weakness will be left with an unstable bladder after operation.

Surgical Treatment of Sphincteric Incontinence in Women

TL;DR: There are many surgical options to correct sphincteric incontinence as mentioned in this paper, and the choice should take account of clinical features, urodynamic data and operation characteristics, and it is desirable to have at least a two year follow-up.
