System and method for intelligent troubleshooting of in-service customer experience issues in communication networks

TL;DR: In this article, a proactive customer experience management method is disclosed, comprising: obtaining a performance-indicating alert (PA), identifying relevant alerts from the alert database in absence of possible fault condition from the PA; determining a possible problem condition from PA and identified relevant alerts; raising trace trigger for gathering relevant trace data; determining specific problem condition and relevant cause, based on gathered trace data and relevant data from PM/FM, CDR, OSS systems; determining appropriate recommendation for resolution of the determined specific problem conditions; updating a user interface dashboard using the determination of the root cause of

Time Domain Channel Estimation and Equalization of CP-OTFS Under Multiple Fractional Dopplers and Residual Synchronization Errors

TL;DR: In this paper, a delay-Doppler domain embedded pilot based time domain channel estimation for cyclic prefix (CP)-OTFS in the presence of residual frame timing offset, carrier frequency offset and fractional multiple Doppler was presented.
Proceedings ArticleDOI

OTFS: Interleaved OFDM with Block CP

TL;DR: In this article, the authors describe OTFS as block-OFDM with a cyclic prefix and time interleaving, and compare the performance with its contender 5G new radio (NR)'s OFDM configuration of variable subcarrier bandwidth (VSB) while considering practical forward error correction codes and 3GPP high-speed channel model.

OTFS: Interleaved OFDM with Block CP.

TL;DR: Considering practical channel estimation, it is found that OTFS outperforms VSB-OFDM with 5G NR parameter by about 5dB, and results on peak to average power ratio (PAPR) due to specific pilot structure used in OTFs for channel estimation are presented.

Systems and methods for effective identification of geo-location in mobile hetnet environments

TL;DR: In this article, a device geo-location method is described, comprising of receiving one or more wireless signal strengths associated with connectivity of a user device to one or multiple wireless access points; calculating, via a processor, one of the distances of the user device from the one or several wireless access point using the one of wireless signal strength.
