Journal ArticleDOI
G4IPDB: A database for G-quadruplex structure forming nucleic acid interacting proteins.
TL;DR: G4IPDB as discussed by the authors is the first database that provides comprehensive information about protein-Nucleic acid G-quadruplex structure (G4) interaction at a single platform.
Journal ArticleDOI
Structural insight for the recognition of G-quadruplex structure at human c-myc promoter sequence by flavonoid Quercetin
TL;DR: The first solution structure for the complex formed between Quercetin and biologically significant c-myc promoter DNA sequence forming G-quadruplex structure is derived and it is suggested that Quercets induces apoptosis-mediated cell death and down-regulated c- myc gene expression.
Journal ArticleDOI
Characterization of G-Quadruplex Motifs in espB, espK, and cyp51 Genes of Mycobacterium tuberculosis as Potential Drug Targets.
Subodh Kumar Mishra,Uma Shankar,Neha Jain,Kriti Sikri,Jaya Sivaswami Tyagi,Tarun Kumar Sharma,Jean-Louis Mergny,Amit Kumar +7 more
TL;DR: The formation of stable intramolecular parallel G-quadruplex structures by Mycobacterium PGQs is revealed using a combination of techniques (NMR, circular dichroism [CD], and gel electrophoresis) and a well-known G- quadruplex ligand, TMPyP4, binds to and stabilizes these PGQ motifs.
Journal ArticleDOI
Multifunctional Inosine Monophosphate Coordinated Metal–Organic Hydrogel: Multistimuli Responsiveness, Self-Healing Properties, and Separation of Water from Organic Solvents
Neha Thakur,Bhagwati Sharma,Suman Bishnoi,Subodh Kumar Mishra,Debasis Nayak,Amit Kumar,Tridib K. Sarma +6 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the spontaneous self-associative complexation of inosine 5′-monophosphate (IMP) with Ag(I) ions in aqueous medium is reported.
Journal ArticleDOI
Identification and characterization of two conserved G-quadruplex forming motifs in the Nipah virus genome and their interaction with G-quadruplex specific ligands.
Prativa Majee,Subodh Kumar Mishra,Nirali Pandya,Uma Shankar,Sanjeev Pasadi,Kalappa Muniyappa,Debasis Nayak,Amit Kumar +7 more
TL;DR: It is reported for the first time, that HGQs in Nipah virus genome are targets for G-quadruplex specific ligands; therefore, could serve as potential targets for anti-viral therapy.
