Data Mining Practical Machine Learning Tools and Techniques

This paper presents control and coordination algorithms for groups of vehicles. The focus is on autonomous vehicle networks performing distributed sensing tasks where each vehicle plays the role of a mobile tunable sensor. The paper proposes gradient descent algorithms for a class of utility functions which encode optimal coverage and sensing policies. The resulting closed-loop behavior is adaptive, distributed, asynchronous, and verifiably correct.

Coverage control for mobile sensing networks

‡We describe the use of singular value decomposition in transforming genome-wide expression data from genes 3 arrays space to reduced diagonalized ‘‘eigengenes’’ 3 ‘‘eigenarrays’’ space, where the eigengenes (or eigenarrays) are unique orthonormal superpositions of the genes (or arrays). Normalizing the data by filtering out the eigengenes (and eigenarrays) that are inferred to represent noise or experimental artifacts enables meaningful comparison of the expression of different genes across different arrays in different experiments. Sorting the data according to the eigengenes and eigenarrays gives a global picture of the dynamics of gene expression, in which individual genes and arrays appear to be classified into groups of similar regulation and function, or similar cellular state and biological phenotype, respectively. After normalization and sorting, the significant eigengenes and eigenarrays can be associated with observed genome-wide effects of regulators, or with measured samples, in which these regulators are overactive or underactive, respectively.

EASL-ALEH Clinical Practice Guidelines: Non-invasive tests for evaluation of liver disease severity and prognosis.

The latest advances in hepatology were presented in oral and poster presentations. In order to cover the varying subspecialties, the sessions were divided into various sections including 'Acute Liver Failure and Artificial Liver Support', 'Biliary Tract and Immunologic Liver Diseases', 'Cellular and Molecular Biology', 'Clinical and Experimental Hepatobiliary Surgery', 'Hepatotoxicity and Cell Death', 'Transport and Biliary Physiology', 'Viral Hepatitis', 'Evaluation and Treatment of Biliary Disease', 'Necrosis/Apoptosis', 'Portal Hypertension', 'Blood Flow and Vascular Disorders of Cirrhosis', 'Liver Transplantation', 'Fibrogenesis', 'Hepatocellular Carcinoma', 'Metabolism and Genetic Disease', and 'Public Policy, Epidemiology and Decision Analysis'. Drug therapy focused on treatments for viral hepatitis, autoimmune hepatitis, primary biliary cirrhosis and primary sclerosing cholangitis, and recurrent viral disease following liver transplant. High dose interferon therapy or various combinations of interferon/ribavirin (ICN Pharmaceuticals Inc) therapy seem to offer the best current therapy for chronic HCV. PEGylated interferon (F Hoffmann-La Roche Ltd) offers hope for treatment and histologic improvement in patients with chronic HCV. Following liver transplantation, combination interferon/ribavirin therapy may also find success, but caution with new potent immunosuppressant monoclonal antibodies is advised. For HBV, intramuscular H-BIG (NABI) appears to be effective and less costly than iv H-BIG administration following liver transplantation. Percutaneous radiofrequency ablation may hold promise over conventional ethanol injection therapy for small hepatocellular carcinoma. Autoimmune hepatitis may respond to tacrolimus therapy whereas budesonide therapy did not provide any advantage to prednisone therapy. For primary biliary cirrhosis, eicosapentate and ursodeoxycholic acid may provide benefit to some patients while silymarin from milk thistle did not provide any additional benefit. In primary sclerosing cholangitis, high dose ursodeoxycholic acid may provide benefit. Ursodeoxycholic acid may also provide benefit for mothers with intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy by decreasing pruritus, lowering laboratory values and allowing deliveries to occur closer to term.

Design of a Virtual Cybersecurity Lab

The 5G network is an emerging field of the research community. 5G is a multi-disciplinary network that aims to support a wide range of services. 5G network has an objective to support a massive number of connected devices. Game theory has an extensive role in wireless network management. Game theory is an approach to analyzing and modeling the system where multiple actors have a role in decision-making with independent objectives and actions. The game theory is an exciting methodology to control the strategic behavior of players and generate an efficient outcome. Coalition game theory can play a crucial role in ensuring cooperation among a massive number of devices. This article provides insight into the current research trends in 5G using coalition games. The work presented in the survey is divided into three categories, namely resource management, interference management, and miscellaneous. This article also provides the foundation about 5G and coalition games highlight the scope of future research.

Coalition Games for Performance Evaluation in 5G and Beyond Networks: A Survey

Recently, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) are deployed in Novel Coronavirus Disease-2019 (COVID-19) vaccine distribution process. To address issues of fake vaccine distribution, real-time massive UAV monitoring and control at nodal centers (NCs), the authors propose SanJeeVni, a blockchain (BC)-assisted UAV vaccine distribution at the backdrop of sixth-generation (6G) enhanced ultra-reliable low latency communication (6G-eRLLC) communication. The scheme considers user registration, vaccine request, and distribution through a public Solana BC setup, which assures a scalable transaction rate. Based on vaccine requests at production setups, UAV swarms are triggered with vaccine delivery to NCs. An intelligent edge offloading scheme is proposed to support UAV coordinates and routing path setups. The scheme is compared against fifth-generation (5G) uRLLC communication. In the simulation, we achieve and 86% improvement in service latency, 12.2% energy reduction of UAV with 76.25% more UAV coverage in 6G-eRLLC, and a significant improvement of $\approx 199.76$ % in storage cost against the Ethereum network, which indicates the scheme efficacy in practical setups.

SanJeeVni: Secure UAV-Envisioned Massive Vaccine Distribution for COVID-19 Underlying 6G Network

This paper proposes a blockchain-based secure and optimal data pricing scheme for ride-sharing. It mainly focuses on securing the data transactions between vehicle owners and customers. It utilizes a communication network, i.e., 6G, to facilitate the low latency and high data rate transmissions between vehicle owner and customer. We applied a reverse Stackelberg game theory approach to yield the optimal payoff for vehicle owners and customers. The performance results of the proposed system over a 6G communication network is estimated by differentiating it with conventional networks such as 4G and 5G. The performance is evaluated considering the parameters latency, scalability, and the optimal payoff for the system. The performance results conclude that the proposed system is secure, reliable, and yields the optimal payoff for vehicle owners and customers.

Blockchain and Stackleberg Game-based Fair and Trusted Data Pricing Scheme for Ride Sharing

The requirement of Device-to-device (D2D) communication is increasing day-by-day for rapid data transmission by bypassing the base station. Communication can be established either through cooperative devices or non-cooperative devices. Cooperative devices relay the information to the weak user, but the non-cooperative behavior of some intermediate nodes leads to malicious activities like fraud, misguide, and data-threat. In non-cooperative communication, the source node directly transmits data to the destination node (with a direct link) to eliminate the intermediate nodes for higher trust. But, such communications are vulnerable to various security and privacy threats such as spoofing, data modification, etc. due to the long-distance coverage of signal from source to destination. To overcome these security issues, this paper proposes a blockchain-based trusted network for non-cooperative D2D communication in a heterogeneous network, FaitH. Here, the devices are communicating via a secured blockchain network, where all the involved peer devices validate each transmission of data. Blockchain records each activity performed by any D2D node in communication. It helps to detect the malicious behavior of any D2D user. Each device is connected to a smart contract having some predefined rules. FaitH ensures secure, trusted, and reliable communication over traditional systems.
