Journal ArticleDOI
Performance of Partially Exfoliated Nitrogen-Doped Carbon Nanotubes Wrapped with Hierarchical Porous Carbon in Electrolytes.
TL;DR: A route for the large-scale synthesis of nitrogen-doped porous carbon wrapped partially exfoliated carbon nanotubes with an interconnected hierarchical porous structure, as an advanced electrode material that can realize several potential applications for energy storage is presented.
Journal ArticleDOI
Copper-63,65 nuclear quadrupole resonance of complexes of copper(I) halides with phosphorus-containing ligands
TL;DR: The NQR results indicated that the previously reported structure for [Cu4Br4(Ph2PCH2PPh2] was incorrect and a redetermination of the structure confirmed this conclusion.
Journal ArticleDOI
Influence of localized surface plasmons on Pauli blocking and optical limiting in graphene under femtosecond pumping
Sudhakara Reddy Bongu,Prem B. Bisht,Raman C. K. Namboodiri,Pranati Nayak,Sundara Ramaprabhu,T. J. Kelly,Colm Fallon,John Costello +7 more
TL;DR: In this paper, the Pauli blocking limit and optical limiting threshold have been modified following silver-nanoparticle decoration of functionalized hydrogen induced exfoliated graphene and the observed results have been explained by modified band structure of graphene in the presence of silver nanoparticles and their localized surface plasmon resonances.
Journal ArticleDOI
Investigation of the role of Cu2O beads over the wrinkled graphene as an anode material for lithium ion battery
TL;DR: In this article, a controlled two-step synthesis technique was used to prepare Cu 2 O nanobeads over hydrogen exfoliated graphene (Cu 2 O NBs-HEG) and its application as an anode material in lithium ion battery.
Journal ArticleDOI
Structural and hydrogen absorption kinetics studies of polymer dispersed and boron added Zr-based AB2 alloy
TL;DR: In this paper, boron added alloys have been prepared and dispersion of polyaniline (PANI) has been performed on ZrMn 0.85 Cr 0.1 V 0.05 Fe 0.5 Ni 0.
