Journal ArticleDOI
The Beta Generalized Weibull distribution: Properties and applications
TL;DR: The distribution is found to be superior to the existing sub models on being fitted to two real data sets and the non-linear equations for deriving the maximum likelihood estimators and the elements of the observed information matrix are presented.
Journal ArticleDOI
Gene expression-based biomarkers for discriminating early and late stage of clear cell renal cancer.
Sherry Bhalla,Kumardeep Chaudhary,Ritesh Kumar,Manika Sehgal,Harpreet Kaur,Suresh Kumar Sharma,Gajendra P. S. Raghava +6 more
TL;DR: An attempt has been made to identify expression-based gene biomarkers that can discriminate early and late stage of clear cell renal cell carcinoma (ccRCC) patients and implied a need to develop gender-specific models for stage classification.
Journal ArticleDOI
Measurements of maxillary sinus volume and dimensions by computed tomography scan for gender determination
TL;DR: It is concluded that CT measurements of maxillary sinus dimensions & volume may be useful for identification of gender in forensic anthropology to some extent when other methods are inconclusive.
Journal ArticleDOI
Single nucleotide polymorphisms in MCP-1 and its receptor are associated with the risk of age related macular degeneration.
Akshay Anand,Neel Kamal Sharma,Amod Gupta,Sudesh Prabhakar,Suresh Kumar Sharma,Ramandeep Singh,Pawan Kumar Gupta +6 more
TL;DR: The association between single neucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) of CCL2 and CCR2 with their respective protein levels revealed that individuals possessing both SNPs are at a higher risk of development of AMD.
Journal ArticleDOI
Behavioral alterations in rotenone model of Parkinson's disease : Attenuation by co-treatment of centrophenoxine
TL;DR: Evidence is provided that centrophenoxine co-treatment attenuates rotenone induced motor dysfunction by virtue of its antioxidant action and significantly attenuated the extent of motor dysfunction and changes in the level of dopamine and lipid peroxidation induced by roten one toxicity.
