Journal ArticleDOI
Revascularization of human ovarian grafts is equally efficient from both sides of the cortex tissue.
Stine Gry Kristensen,Hanna Ørnes Olesen,M. C. Zeuthen,Susanne Elisabeth Pors,Claus Yding Andersen,Linn Salto Mamsen +5 more
TL;DR: In this paper , the authors used immunohistochemical detection of murine CD31 to quantify the vessel area and density of transplanted human ovarian grafts in a mouse model and showed that host revascularization was established equally efficiently from both sides of transplanted human ovarian cortex.
Journal Article
Distribution of mast cells in relation to Schistosoma japonicum induced lesions in pigs
TL;DR: Results show that mast cells are recruited to egg induced lesions in both the liver and the cecum, which seems as if they have some function in the fibrogenic process and thereby play a dual role in the pathogenesis of S. japonicum.
Journal ArticleDOI
Pathology and localization of Avibacterium endocarditidis in experimentally infected broiler breeders.
TL;DR: Most birds developed bacteraemia, but the inability to isolate bacteria from the liver and spleen and the lack of bacteria demonstrated by FISH and histopathology, suggested lack of fulminant septicaemia.
Journal ArticleDOI
Draft Genome Sequences of Three Escherichia coli Strains with Different In Vivo Pathogenicities in an Avian (Ascending) Infection Model of the Oviduct.
Rikke Heidemann Olsen,Ida Thøfner,Susanne Elisabeth Pors,Henrik Christensen,Magne Bisgaard,Jens Peter Christensen +5 more
TL;DR: Three draft genome sequences of Escherichia coli strains that experimentally were proven to possess low, intermediate, or high virulence in an avian infection model of the oviduct are presented.
Journal ArticleDOI
Organotypic Culture of Testicular Tissue from Infant Boys with Cryptorchidism
Dan-Jiang Wang,Simone Hildorf,Elissavet Ntemou,Linn Salto Mamsen,Lihua Dong,Susanne Elisabeth Pors,Jens Fedder,Erik Clasen-Linde,Dina Cortes,Jorgen Thorup,Claus Yding Andersen +10 more
TL;DR: The authors' culture conditions support the initiation of spermatocytes and enhanced maturation of Sertoli cells and PTMCs within infant testicular tissues, and may be a basis for future studies focusing on maintaining and increasing the number of sPermatogonia and identifying different factors and hormones, further advancing in vitro sperMatogenesis.
