Journal ArticleDOI
para-Selective t-butylation of phenol over mesoporous H-AlMCM-41
TL;DR: In this article, a vapour phase alkylation of phenol with t-butyl alcohol (2-methyl-2-propanol) was carried out over mesoporous H-AlMCM-41 in the temperature range 448−498 K.
Journal ArticleDOI
Nanosized metal oxides in the mesopores of MCM-41 and MCM-48 silicates
TL;DR: In this paper, the preparation and characterization of nanosized metal oxide particles (Fe2O3, ZnO and PbO) inside the mesopore channels of MCM-41 and MCM48 silicate molecular sieves was described.
Journal ArticleDOI
Tertiary butylation of phenol over mesoporous H–FeMCM-41
TL;DR: Trivalent-iron-substituted mesoporous molecular sieve catalysts (FeMCM-41) were synthesized hydrothermally and characterized systematically by various analytical and spectroscopic techniques as mentioned in this paper.
Journal ArticleDOI
Microwave assisted oxidation of a lignin model phenolic monomer using Co(salen)/SBA-15
TL;DR: In this paper, the microwave assisted oxidative degradation of a lignin model phenolic monomer (1-(4-hydroxy-3-methoxyphenoxy)-ethanol, apocynol) catalysed by Co(salen)/SBA-15 is reported.
Journal ArticleDOI
The entrapment of UO22+ in mesoporous MCM-41 and MCM-48 molecular sieves
TL;DR: In this paper, a method based on direct template-ion exchange was employed for the entrapment of UO22+ ions in MCM-41 and MCM -48 molecular sieves via swapping of cetyltrimethylammonium cations present in the mesoporous channels by the UO 22+ ion in an aqueous solution.
