Charge transport in π-conjugated systems

TL;DR: In this article, the effects on charge transport of inter chain interactions in conjugated polymers and inter shell interactions in multi-wall carbon nanotubes are studied theoretically, and it is shown that the effective interaction is weak and the current through a multilinear carbon-nanotube is dominated by the transport along a single shell.

Calculation of oscillator strengths with the supercell method. Sub-bandgap transitions in conjugated polymers

TL;DR: In this article, a supercell representation of localized defects is used to calculate the energy levels and the wavefunctions of localized band-gap states, which is based on the completely theoretical Valence Effective Hamiltonian, VEH, which has non-natural symmetries of the commonly used SSH Hamiltonian.
