TL;DR: In vitro bioassay indicated that compound 5i was outstood with broad-spectrum of in vitro activity against five fungi, and in vivo fungicidal activity of 5i exhibited excellent inhibitory rate against Puccinia sorghi and R. solani, and Fluorescence quenching analysis and SDH enzymatic inhibition studies validated its mode of action.

TL;DR: The expression of the systemic acquired resistance gene pr1 was significantly up-regulated after treating with compound 6u for 24 h and 48 h (122-fold) and can help the development of isothiazole–thiazole-based novel fungicides.
