Journal ArticleDOI

Non-invasive assessment of the age related changes in stiffness of major branches of the human arteries

TL;DR: The results indicate that the stiffness indices of the peripheral muscular arteries are modified appreciably by vasoactive stimuli and that the mechanical properties of the deeper elastic arteries provide sufficiently reliable information about changes caused by aging and arteriosclerosis.
Journal ArticleDOI

A two-step spin transition with a disordered intermediate state in a new two-dimensional coordination polymer.

TL;DR: The two-dimensional (2D) polymeric spin crossover (SCO) compound Fe(py)2[Ag(CN)2]2 has been synthesized and powder X-ray diffraction indicates that there is only one crystallographic site for iron(II) in the whole temperature range, confirmed by Mössbauer spectroscopy.
Journal ArticleDOI

Guest-dependent spin crossover in a Hofmann-type coordination polymer Fe(4,4′-bipyridyl)[Au(CN)2]2·nGuest

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors reported the successful synthesis of novel guest-dependent spin crossover (SCO) complexes Fe(4,4′-bipyridyl)[Au(CN)2]2·nG (G = ǫ-benzene (1), toluene (2), o-xylene (3), m xylene (4), p xylene(5), and chloroform (6)).
Journal ArticleDOI

Crystal Structures of Ln(III) (Ln = La, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, and Gd) Complexes with N,N,N′,N′-Tetraethyldiglycolamide Associated with Homoleptic [Ln(NO3)6)]3−

TL;DR: Novel lanthanoid(III) (Ln(III)) complexes with N,N, N′,N′-tetraethyldiglycolamide (TEDGA) have been synthesized and characterized.
Journal ArticleDOI

Triply Interpenetrated Structure of {MnII(L)2[AgI(CN)2]2}{MnII(H2O)2[AgI(CN)2]2} (L = 4-CNpy or py-4-aldoxime)

TL;DR: Two novel 3D network coordination polymers were synthesized in this paper : 4-CNpy (1) or py-4-aldoxime (2) for 3D networks.
