Journal ArticleDOI
Hepatoprotective and antioxidant activities of Justicia gendarussa leaf extract in carbofuran-induced hepatic damage in rats
Milon Mondal,Milon Mondal,Md. Monir Hossain,Mohammad Asikur Rahman,Sushmita Saha,Nizam Uddin,Md. Rakib Hasan,Abdul Kader,Tania Binte Wahed,Sukalyan Kumar Kundu,Muhammad Torequl Islam,Mohammad S. Mubarak +11 more
TL;DR: The present study suggests the protective role of JgMe against hepatic injury induced by CF which may be attributed to its higher antioxidant properties and thereby scientifically justifies its traditional use.
Journal ArticleDOI
Protective Role of Syzygium Cymosum Leaf Extract Against Carbofuran-Induced Hematological and Hepatic Toxicities
Tania Binte Wahed,Milon Mondal,Mohammad Asikur Rahman,Sakib Hossen,Nikhil Chandra Bhoumik,Sushmita Saha,E. M. Tanvir,Ibrahim Khalil,Sukalyan Kumar Kundu,Muhammad Torequl Islam,Mohammad S. Mubarak +10 more
TL;DR: S. cymosum may be one of the best sources of natural antioxidant compounds that can be used in the treatment of oxidative stress and stress-related diseases and disorders.
Journal ArticleDOI
Investigation of bioactivities of methanolic and ethyl acetate extracts of Dioscorea pentaphylla leaf along with its phenolic composition
Milon Mondal,Milon Mondal,Md. Monir Hossain,Md. Monir Hossain,Nittananda Das,Mohammad Asikur Rahman,Nizam Uddin,Md. Rakib Hasan,Md. Jahir Alam,Md. Nurul Islam,Tania Binte Wahed,Sukalyan Kumar Kundu +11 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors investigated the in-vivo antioxidant properties, brine shrimp lethality bioassay, and antimicrobial activity and invivo analgesic, anti-inflammatory, and antidiarrheal potentiality of methanolic and ethyl acetate extracts of Dioscorea pentaphylla.
Journal ArticleDOI
Evaluation of bioactivities of methanol and petroleum ether extracts of Cassia renigera seed

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigated in vitro antioxidant, brine shrimp lethality bioassay, antimicrobial, anthelmintic activities and in vivo peripheral analgesic activity of methanol and petroleum ether extracts of Cassia renigera seed.
Journal ArticleDOI
Role of Citrus medica L. Fruits Extract in Combatting the Hematological and Hepatic Toxic Effects of Carbofuran.
Milon Mondal,Sushmita Saha,Chandan Kumar Sarkar,Sakib Hossen,Solayman Hossain,Abul Bashar Ripon Khalipha,Fokhrul Islam,Tania Binte Wahed,Muhammad Torequl Islam,Abdur Rauf,Mohammad S. Mubarak,Sukalyan Kumar Kundu +11 more
TL;DR: In this article, the authors evaluated the antioxidant properties of Citrus medica methanol extract against carbofuran (CF)-induced toxicity in experimental rats and found that it has considerable phenol, flavonoid, and antioxidant capability and exhibits significant free radical scavenging and reducing potentialities.
