Trade Credit and Cross-Country Predictable Firm Returns

TL;DR: In this paper, the authors investigate the role of trade credit links in generating cross-border return predictability between international firms and find that firms with high trade credit located in producer countries have stock returns that are strongly predictable based on the returns of their associated customer countries.

TL;DR: In this article, the authors employ new data from a secondary market for hedge funds, and discover a closed-hedge fund premium that is highly correlated with the closed-end mutual fund premium, and show that the closed hedge fund premium is well explained by variables suggested by rational theories.

Heterogeneous Taxes and Limited Risk Sharing: Evidence from Municipal Bonds

TL;DR: In this article, tax-induced ownership segmentation is shown to limit risk-sharing, creating regions of the aggregate demand curve for the asset that are "downward-sloping'' and making the asset's price more sensitive to movements in idiosyncratic risk.
